Kjersti Bjørkeng is a Senior Scientist at SINTEF Technology and Society and a core member of Centre of Management and Organization Studies, University of Technology, Sydney. She holds a doctorate degree from NTNU, Department of Industrial Economics and Technology Management.

Originally trained in philosophy at the University of Oslo, she is still very much inspired by her philosophical roots, and is particularly interested in combining practice based studies and process philosophy.
